If measured by balance, it does seem slightly more in equilibrium in terms of acidity and tannic structure than the other 22s. There’s really nothing wrong here, and everything right, except for the size, which may be offputting. I’m willing to grant it a point more than the Roma’s vineyard, simply for the lush elegance and mouthfeel. Highish alcohol is a marked feature. A wine to enjoy with smoky, charred beef.
